World Restart a Heart Day is an international campaign aimed at raising awareness about the importance of resuscitation. Every year on October 16th, people worldwide are reminded of the critical role fast action plays in cardiac arrest situations, where every second matters for survival. Medisol proudly supports this initiative and is actively involved in various activities. We also encourage you to help raise awareness about CPR on World Restart a Heart Day—and beyond.

Medisol supports a good cause during World Restart a Heart Day

This year, Medisol is launching a special initiative to support World Restart a Heart Day. From October 14th to 20th, 2024, we will be doubling our regular donation to the Saving Lives Foundation from €10 to €20 for every AED sold (excluding reseller orders). Medisol consistently donates €10 per AED sold, but during this special week, the foundation will receive €20 per AED. You, as a customer, won’t see any change—this extra donation is covered entirely by Medisol.

Why are we doing this? We believe this is a great opportunity to our dedication to improving survival rates for cardiac arrest, especially as World Restart a Heart Day draws attention to resuscitation efforts. The Saving Lives Foundation supports organisations and communities that cannot afford to purchase AEDs. If your organisation is in need, you can apply to receive support from the foundation.
